We have booked driving lessons for our secondary school aged members.
This will be held on the 15th March at Mere Oak park and ride, which is just off J11 of the M4.
It is suitable for young people who are:·
- between Year 7 and 17 years old
- 1.42 metres tall or over
- In good health
- Has eyesight at least to the standard required by law for driving (i.e. can read a number plate from a distance of 20 metres)
- Does not suffer from any medical conditions that could affect their ability to drive (if in doubt this should be discussed with us prior to the lesson taking place).
There will be 2 learners per dual-controlled car, who will have a 30 minute lesson each. We ask that if your child uses a radio aid that you bring this along for use in the lesson. When the lessons are finished we will arrange for taxis to take everyone to Pizza Hut at Reading Gate Retail Park (by B&Q) for pizza.
This event is open to deaf children only, due to the limited number of spaces on this event. The cost will be just £10 per person.There are just 12 spaces on this event so don’t delay – book today! Closing date is midnight on Friday 6th March.
