We are delighted to let you know that the members of RDCS and SEBDCS voted unanimously in favour of the two charities merging and the formation of Berkshire Deaf Children’s Society.
We will all be working hard over the coming weeks and months to complete the legal and practical processes involved in the merger. Including a new website!
The new BDCS committee is as follows:

Events and publicity: Lisa Herbert
Safeguarding and Fundraising: Kate Smith
Our first event will be our official launch day which will be Sunday 16th September in the morning. Please put the date in your diary and more information will follow shortly.
We look forward to meeting everyone at our events and are open to any suggestions or offers of help with events or fundraising.
