BDCS are delighted to offer members the chance to have a go at sno-tubing!
If your children haven’t done this before, sno-tubes are large inflatable rings which you sit on and which can then be spun and/or linked together to slide down the ski slope for a thrilling ride! For those who haven’t been to the slope at Bracknell before, it is artificial matting rather than actual snow, but who knows what the weather will do and maybe there will be some white stuff after all!
No experience is required, nor is special clothing, just long sleeves, trousers & trainers and a coat if it is wet/cold. (Please note that the event will still go ahead if it is raining.)
The minimum age is 4 years of age as the children do need to be able to carry their sno-tubes and walk back up the slope to have another go and, although there is no upper age limit, this BDCS event is for children only (sorry parents!) You are however welcome to stand close by on the side of the slope to assist with communication or help carrying the sno-tube.
